EventsNet is operated by Oxylane Digital Solutions Ltd. We run an event ticketing and registration platform. This policy describes how we handle your personal data when you use our website and services.

  • Booking and ticket data: event choices, ticket types, quantities, and transaction identifiers when you purchase tickets.
  • Event data: event details, dates, venues, and ticket types that organizers list on the platform.
  • Payment-related data: we do not store full card numbers; payment processing is handled by approved providers. We may retain transaction references and mobile money identifiers as needed for accounting and support.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use your data to: provide the ticketing and event services; process payments and payouts; send booking confirmations and event-related communications; improve the platform and security; comply with legal obligations; and, where you have agreed, send marketing (you can opt out at any time).

4. Sharing Your Data

We may share data with:

  • Event organizers: when you buy a ticket, the organizer receives information needed to run the event (e.g. name, contact, ticket type).
  • Payment and service providers: to process payments and operate our systems (under strict agreements).
  • Legal and regulatory: when required by law or to protect our rights and safety.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties for their marketing.

5. Retention

We keep your data only as long as needed for the purposes above, including legal, accounting, and dispute resolution. When no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.
