1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using EventsNet (“the Platform”), operated by Oxylane Digital Solutions Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform. We reserve the right to update these terms; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
2. Use of the Platform
EventsNet is an event ticketing and registration platform. You may use it to:
- Browse and purchase tickets for events listed by verified organizers.
- Create and manage events and sell tickets (as an approved organizer).
You must provide accurate information and use the Platform only for lawful purposes. You must not misuse the service (e.g. fraud, resale in breach of organizer rules, or automated scraping).
3. Accounts and Registration
To buy tickets or organize events you may need to register. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.
4. Listing Events (Organizers)
Organizers must comply with our organizer agreement and applicable laws. You are responsible for the accuracy of event details, dates, venues, and ticket types. You must honour all sold tickets and comply with our Refund & Cancellation Policy. We may suspend or remove events that violate these terms or the law.
5. Ticket Purchases and Payments
Ticket purchases are contracts between the buyer and the event organizer. We facilitate payment collection. Payments are processed via mobile money (and other methods we support). You must pay any fees disclosed at checkout. Once a purchase is confirmed, the organizer’s refund policy applies.
6. Fees and Commission
Organizers pay subscription and/or per-transaction fees as set out in our pricing and organizer agreement. Ticket buyers may see a service fee at checkout. All fees are stated before you commit to a purchase or subscription.
7. Cancellation by Organizers
If an organizer cancels or postpones an event, our Refund & Cancellation Policy applies. We are not liable for organizer decisions; refunds are handled in line with that policy.
8. Prohibited Conduct
You must not: use the Platform for illegal or fraudulent activity; infringe others’ intellectual property or privacy; transmit malware; attempt to circumvent security or access controls; or use the Platform in a way that could harm us, organizers, or attendees.
9. Intellectual Property
EventsNet’s name, logos, and platform design are our property or our licensors’. You may not copy or use them without permission. Event content provided by organizers remains their responsibility; by listing events you grant us the rights needed to operate the Platform.
10. Disclaimer
The Platform is provided “as is”. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. We are not responsible for the conduct of organizers or attendees, or for the quality, safety, or legality of events.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform or any event. Our total liability shall not exceed the fees you paid to us in the twelve (12) months before the claim.
12. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Oxylane Digital Solutions Ltd and its affiliates from any claims, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Platform, your events, or your breach of these terms.
13. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms. Organizers may be subject to additional terms in their agreement. On termination, your right to use the Platform ceases; provisions that by nature should survive (e.g. liability, indemnity) remain in effect.
14. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Zambia. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Zambia.
